The New Library

West Hempstead has recently completed construction on a brand new, state-of-the-art library and is in the midst of a neighborhood beautification project. On warm Shabbos afternoons, the community playground is where you'll find many of the young families that call West Hempstead home. The community also organizes sports leagues that play on the neighborhood ball fields, has a local civic association, and is home to Hall's Pond and Nassau County's Echo Park.
