Dear Friends,

At the end of this June, our beloved crossing guard Ines Aiossa will be retiring from the Nassau County Police Department. Ines has been with Anshei Shalom for 20 years, dutifully watching our children and adults and ensuring their safety as they crossed Hempstead Ave.

We cannot show enough appreciation to Ines, but we are going to try nonetheless. On June 17th, at 4:30pm, we will host a Dessert Retirement Party for Ines, and will be presenting her with a book of thank you letters and drawings from our members and their children.  At the end of year youth event on Sunday, June 11th, at 8:45am, children will be able to contribute to the book.
