West Hempstead offers a state-of-the-art library and is in the midst of a neighborhood beautification project. On warm Shabbos afternoons, the community playground is where you'll find many of the young families that call West Hempstead home. The community also organizes sports leagues that play on the neighborhood ball fields, has a local civic association, and is home to Hall's Pond and Nassau County's Echo Park.
We are located just 15 minutes away from the Five Towns, 2 minutes from Hempstead Lake State Park, and 45 minutes to Penn Station via the Long Island Rail Road.
