Welcoming Committee
Are you new to the neighborhood? Just checking it out for a Shabbos? The Anshei Shalom Welcoming Committee is here to make sure your visit or transition to West Hempstead is enjoyable, and that you get every opportunity to meet new people and get your questions answered.
The Welcoming Committee is responsible for the following activities:
- Identify and welcome families when they move in
- Find a Shabbos meal host shortly after they move in
- Along with the Sisterhood, give gift when a family becomes a member
- Hospitality - for families looking to check out the neighborhood
- Host a fun social event at least once a year
