Chessed Committee
The Anshei Shalom Chessed committee is here to lend a helping hand. Our Chessed Committee is comprised of members of our shul who volunteer their time and services during life-changing events. We are here to help ensure if a family needs they have meals and are taken care of in times of need.
The Chessed committee is responsible for:
- If a family welcomes a new addition we are can provide meals for Shabbat and take care of arranging meals during the first 2 weeks after the baby is born.
- If there is a death in the family, we provide meals for the week as well as for Shabbat.
- If there is an illness in the family we provide meals and help as needed.
